Weekend!

Hi Everyone!

So I have had a pretty busy and tiring weekend which I thought I would share with you!

Saturday- I had to get up at 6.45 am for a skating practice as I find it a lot quieter and I am ,weirdly, more awake! Lately I seem to be having a lot of problems with all of my spins and I have no idea how to improve them to how they were so if you are a skater who knows how to improve on spins PLEASE COMMENT ON HOW I CAN IMPROVE!
Then later on we went to one of my most favourite places... (Not Disneyland, sadly) IKEA! I love that place but I have no idea why. I think cheap flatpack and homeware must give me a sense of happiness! I got so many bits and bobs for my room and a snazzy new bed spread which is covered in raspberries! Raspberries are my all time favourite fruit which is why this bed spread is perfect for moi! (I need to get a life)

I have decided that I want to change my lifestyle and have started working out for at least 30 minutes a day so I can be more athletic for skating and just in general! I am using the Nike Training Club App which is free from the App Store and has loads of different free routines! I am focusing more on toning up and starting to do yoga so I can be more peaceful. I absolutely love it and hopefully I can keep this up!

Sunday- Today I have been dragged around every garden centre in the county and it was unsurprisingly dull. I did 45 minutes of working out and now I am having a smoothie while typing this post! I am planning to have a relaxing bath and face mask then do some really 'fun' English homework.

I hope you all are having a fab weekend where ever you are and I hope to write more next week!

A Time to Celebrate!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry that I seemed to have been wiped off the face of the earth this week it has been somewhat boring and uneventful until today!

In school I am a B grade student overall with D's in science but today a glorious event happened!

I GOT AN A* IN FRENCH!

It was a reading paper we were doing as exam revision and I got 34/45. To say I started off in year 10 as a D grade student and got an A* today is one of my greatest achievements! (I know that sounds really lame!) But it helps that I have a fantastic teacher who is absolutely fabulous! She is also my tutor; I am so lucky to have her as my tutor but I am so gutted that I won't see her again when I leave school but I will be so happy that I knew her!

But anyway I have a drama exam that I am preparing for that I will write about once it is finished! I hope you have all had a better week than me! Hope to write soon!

Wicked!

Hi Everyone!

Last Night (Saturday 18th April) I went to the Sunderland Empire to see the touring production of Wicked and OH MY GOD! It was outstanding and I was blown away by the talent of the cast and the entire production! Well Wicked is one of my favourite musicals and I feel that in some aspects it was better than the West End production that I saw in 2013 (Which was still fantastic!).
I went to see the production with my Mum, Grandma and my friend from school, who I'm in a group with for my GCSE Drama piece. She's pretty fab!

However even though it was a fantastic it was somewhat ruin by a stupid cow two seats along who spent the entire performance on her phone texting someone, trying to shield it in her handbag. If there is one thing I can't stand, it is rudeness in the theatre. Everyone involved in the production works too damn hard to have idiots like her ruining it for everyone else.

I hope you're all having a fab weekend and I hope to write soon!

Catch Up!

Hi Everyone!

I know haven't blogged for a little while and sorry for that! I just haven't really had anything to type about so I thought maybe I would do a catch up of the last few days! Hope you like this type of catch up post as this will probably happen quite frequently in the future!

So on Tuesday I went to pick up my prom dress and it is just perfection! I saw it in the shop window of Belle Evening Wear, Gilesgate, and I instantly fell in love so I went to try it on and it was my size! This dress and me was a match made in heaven! It is ruby red with nude net sleeves and the sleeves have diamonds all around the wrists and shoulders. I am looking forward to prom but the only things I am excited about are seeing my closest friends look fab and to get all dressed up!

On Wednesday I had to go up to Newcastle College to enrol early for my course. If I didn't already mention I will be attending Newcastle College in September 2015 and I will be doing a BTEC level 3 in Musical Theatre which is basically my idea of a dream! Anyway, I was really nervous because I get super nervous in new places and when I don't know exactly where I am going. I also suffer from Paranoia which means I get quite panicked with 'new' experiences. So I actually managed to get the right place and it went absolutely fine.
Even though the might seem like such a little thing, to me it was a huge accomplishment because I went on my own and managed to actually ask someone for directions to the admin office! I feel like this is the start of a brand new me and when I start in September hopefully my paranoia won't stop me as much.
I will sadly experience many situations where I will feel paranoid in the future and this is because of the awful time I have had at secondary school where I have been stuck with some horrendous people who I hopefully will never see once I have left school!

And today was very uneventful!

The Eventful Evening!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all have had a fabulous day today! Mine's been pretty boring, you know, the usual; like having to learn pointless things from pointless subjects but anyway what an evening I have had!

My Boohoo order arrived even though I only ordered it on Saturday! So I highly recommend Boohoo if you want good quality clothes that are so cheap (with quick delivery!)
Even though it was a couple items I am so pleased with them!
The first piece is a kimono jacket which with a black background and a dark brown/cream design. It could be work with either a white or dark coloured top and a pair of jeans, leggings or shorts.

The second piece is a vest with the astrology signs on the front. (Mines Sagittarius!) It is very stretchy and could be work with jeans, leggings, shorts or a skirt.

Both fit absolutely perfect and I can't wait to wear them at the weekend!

The second part of the eventful evening was when I arrived at the ice rink for my skating lesson and they were filming for a TV programme called Our School: What Happened Next (TO BE AIRED ON CBBC) They were filming this group of girls who the documentary was focusing on and my lesson was happening practically next to them which meant part of me could be seen and they did a lot of shots of the entire ice rink! However while they were filming I was attempting a single loop jump (which I was learning) and I fell right on to my back getting ice burn on my elbows and hitting my tail bone.
So my TV debut is of me falling on my arse.
Well Done Charlotte! Well Done!

So I hope you found this exciting, I know I did!

Doomsday!

Hi Everyone!

So tomorrow is the day I go back to school after Easter and to be honest I would rather stab myself in the eye with some needles. I hate school, no sorry, I despise school. I don't know what it is like at your school (wherever you are in the world) but mine is pretty much a replica of hell. It is a science based school which means there is NO consideration for anything creative. Even though we do have drama it is horrendous and it would have been better taking another subject at year 11. There is also a lack of decent teachers as only a few of my teachers seem to know what they are actually doing!
My school also seems to let many students get away with bullying and instead of being punished, they actually get rewarded for it. You may think I'm being a drama queen but trust me, this happens quite regularly.

Another reason why I loathe school is that I have found it very hard to fit in over the years due to many factors, mainly because of my theatrical personality. I am regularly told that being an actress isn't a 'real' career and Drama isn't a 'real' subject. Well to all you people out there who say this, you try remembering a whole script and 10 songs including 3 solos in 3 months while smiling and remembering every stage direction. (But this is only one reason why I don't fit in, more will follow in a future blog post!)

Eve though only have 4 weeks left it feels like I have another 4 years to deal with because time goes ridiculously slow in that place.

Maybe later on in another blog post I will go into more detail and talk about different situations that I have had to face over the years! We'll see!

I hope that you all have a better day than me tomorrow and I hope that you don't have to put up with the crap that I have to every day of school week.

A Little About Me!

Hi Everyone!

Well today has been pretty uneventful apart from going to the hairdressers and getting my roots bleached to match the rest of my hair. If you don't already know from my profile picture I have bleach blonde hair which is in no way natural! However surprisingly my hair is in really good condition even though I have been bleaching my hair for quite a while now!

Anyway... back to more interesting stuff!

I thought I would come up with a few facts about me so you can get to know me! I have 8 facts that you won't know unless you know me really well!
Here we go!

1. When I was a child I played/did different sports which was Trampolining, Hockey and Football (Soccer) . I was Captain of my primary school's girls Football (Soccer) Team and Captain for one of the Basketball teams for my primary school. I was the goalkeeper for both football teams!

2. I have a pet rabbit called Rosie who is a black and white dutch rabbit and she was 5 in January! I also have a goldfish called Gok (After the legend that is Gok Wan!)

3. 8 is my lucky/favourite number and Orange is my favourite colour!

4. When I was 8/9 I played the part of Sandy in a Youth Production of Grease it was between me and two 16 year olds!

5. I have a fear of insects and failure!

6. My favourite musical of all time is Phantom of the Opera and my dream role is Christine Daae!

7. My Idols/ Role Models are Sierra Boggess, Angela Lansbury, Sam Lupton, Brenda Edwards and Bonnie Langford!

8. I am a Figure Skater and have only been taking lessons since August 2014 but I have already achieved my Skate UK level 10 and I am going to be working on my Bronze, Silver and Gold.

So I hope this has given you some more info about me and the type of person I am, sort of!

Trip to Seaham

Hi Everyone!
Today was so warm and beautiful that I went on a trip to Seaham. I had such a fab day which included going on a long walk along the beach and an Ice Cream from Lickety Split! I took some photos on my iPod but then it decided it would rather have no charge so I had to take some on my phone.
I apologise for the quality of these photos as I'm no photographer!

Here are some views of the beach from various heights!

My Ice Cream from Lickety Split, I had Orange Sorbet and Wild Cherry! It was perfect. And yes I am one of those people who doesn't like Ice Cream Cones. (Also excuse my hair!)

Here are some War Memorials which I found beautiful and respectful towards the many people who died in the many wars. The top one is of a soldier called Tommy and is to mark the 100 years since the breakout of World War I and to represent PTSD which many soldiers suffer from.
The bottom picture is to pay respects to the soldiers who have died in the Afghanistan War.

These photos are ones that I took on the walk along the beach featuring my bright orange Docs! (This was my attempt of being all creative with the photos!)

Hope these pictures show the beauty of the beach when the sun is out!

Hi Everyone!

Hi Everyone!

Well this is the start of my blog and I am so excited to get started!
Let me introduce myself, I'm Charlotte and I am a 16 year old living in the North East of England. My purpose in life is to become a West End Actress and I have been working towards this dream since I was 7 years old. However this dream has partially come true as in 2014 I performed in the West End while attending West End Stage, Summer School!

So this blog isn't going to focus on one main thing. It will be a variety of topics such as Nail Art, Musicals, Fashion, Movies and much more! (I know that sounds like a cheesy advert!)

I hope to keep this blog up and who knows what the future may bring!
