The Wizard of Oz - 2015

Hi Everyone!

So at long last I have got around to writing a blog post about the production of the Wizard of Oz that I was in during June! I also have a few things to tell you all about from the past week or so swell so be prepared for a long ass blog post!

So I'll start with recent news! Last week I went to summer school at Newcastle College for Musical Theatre! It was soooo good! We were doing a number from Seussical the Musical, Oh the thinks you can think, and I got the part of Jojo/Boy on the first day which I couldn't believe! I just want to take a moment to say to the people who said I would never get principle roles, you can get in the bin now. Anyway, back to college, so I met most of my class and all of my teachers. Everyone seems so nice and I'm so excited to start my training in September! It will take me a while to get used to not being at school with that group of friends and having to start all over again but hopefully I will settle in quick!

I am also doing really well in dance and after 5 weeks of starting proper classes, I am doing my modern dance exam this Sunday and I am pretty nervous as I would say dancing isn't my strong point but I will do anything to improve it!
This Saturday I am also going to Pride in Newcastle with my friend Holly from Wizard and I have never been so it should be really good!

Right so here is the bit on the Wizard of Oz!

Wizard is probably my favourite show that I have ever done and I have had the most fun doing it! The cast and creative team are the best bunch of people that I have had the pleasure to work with! Even though I only had 2 weeks of rehearsals, I felt like I had been doing it from the beginning! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and they restored my love for performing on stage and have so many knock downs. It was at the Royalty Theatre Sunderland and we had 8 shows!
Here are some photos, I won't put them all on because there are LOADS! but here goes! I'll include their name and role!

These guys are seriously the best and I miss doing Wizard so much! But hopefully our paths will cross in the future!

Today I actually went back to school! It was so weird going in and not being in uniform and needing a visitors badge. I went in for a good catch up with my tutor and it was so lovely, but it made me realise how much I am actually going to miss the social side of school and certain people!

I am due to go on holiday on Monday but I might blog before then and maybe on holiday but I will keep you posted!

Prom 2015!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I haven't been blogging much recently as the Wizard of Oz ended on Sunday and I have been suffering really badly with post show blues and felt like I needed time to myself so I could then blog again without depressing all of you guys.

So on Tuesday 30th June, was my Year 11 prom and what a lovely night it was! It has been a couple of weeks since I have seen a lot of people in my year and it was so nice to see everyone again! But this time everyone was looking glamorous and stunning, not in boring black uniforms!

Our prom was at Lumley Castle, Chester-le-Street and it was so fabulous! It was a really sunny and hot night, so I was slowly setting on fire in my prom dress! But apart from that it was all really good!

All of my friends looked stunning and it was amazing to see them all again at something to do with school! It was also really nice to see my tutor again after leaving school! After 5 years of having a lack of confidence, I felt so confident and happy that night!

Here are some photos from the night, some of these are from my friends so thanks for letting me steal them from Facebook!
So this is a full shot of my Prom dress and it is absolutely stunning! I love the colour and the sleeves so much! The sleeves were tan coloured net with diamonds covering the shoulders and wrists. It is a Jovani dress from the 2014 prom collection. When I first saw this dress in the shop window of 'Belle Evening Wear' in Gilesgate, I instantly fell in love with it. I went into the shop to try it on and it fit me perfectly AND was the only one they had left! This dress was meant to be mine! I had a pair of silver glitter Christian Louboutins which were absolute perfection even though my feet are still suffering from wearing them for about 3 hours!
So this is of me and Abigail on the balcony of Lumley Castle and she looked so sophisticated and glamorous, as usual! Her dress really suited her and the colour was so her!
This is me with Brady later on in the evening, again on the balcony! Her dress was so beautiful and made her look so pretty! Her hair was also ombre pink which matched her dress! She just looked so on point!

This is Charlie me and Karis looking fabulous as ever! Both of them looked so glamorous and their dress were perfect for them! Their hair was also immaculate and really topped off their dress!

Here is a close up of me! I did my own make up but I had my hair done at my hairdressers, Associates. Sally styled it and Cheryl bleached my roots! They did such an amazing job and made me feel so glamorous!

This here is me and my Prom date Declan. He looked very dapper and I was glad that I got to go to Prom with an old and close friend! We went to our year 6 Prom together and it was so sweet to go to my year 11 Prom with him!

Here is me and the fabulous Eden! We went through 3 years of maths together and she is so lovely, I am so glad I got the chance to be friends with her! She looked so gorgeous and her dress was so fab!

This is a special photo as it is the girls from my tutor group with Mrs Hale. We have had some brilliant times in tutor and Mrs Hale has been there for us whenever we needed someone to talk to or have support on life issues! So this photo really means a lot to me and I'm going to miss tutor time so much!

This is me and Holly looking very sparkly with our diamond dresses! She looked absolutely beautiful and she looked so slim and tall in white and it really suited her! She also had her hair done at the same hairdressers as me which I thought was nice!
This is a photo of me and my cousin Lara before I went to Brady's to get the Taxi!
Here is Leanne and when I saw her, my jaw hit the floor! She looked absolutely beautiful and I wasn't expecting her to look so glamorous! I have only ever seen her with her hair in a ponytail and never in a dress so it was such a lovely shock! I think she should wear make up when she is next playing for England! XD
This here is my bae Luke! He looked very smart and his tie matched my dress even though we never planned it! Also his suit was very similar to Declan's! I think he really suited the colour and he looks fab with his new glasses!
Of course I wouldn't miss out Maddy! She looked so beautiful and I think that the photos of us are fabulous! She looked 100% on point and the professional photo of is is so lovely and I will treasure it forever! Of course we did the traditional thumb face!
Heres a really nice one of us looking glamorous!
Me, Maddy and Mrs Hale made a promise that at prom we would take a thumb face as during many tutor times me and Maddy would take a variety of thumb faces and Mrs Hale always looked over during this in amazement and confusion! She has also seen many of these beautiful creations and so here is another one that we can add to the collection, WITH Mrs Hale this time!
This is such a nice photo of me and Patrick (Patty Poops) at Brady's before prom! He looked so dapper and stylish in his bow tie and braces. Him and Declan are twins so it was lovely that we could all travel to prom together. He went to prom with Brady (as friends) and it was such a good idea to travel together!
A Selfie with Me, Declan and Patrick

A full length shot of me and Patrick!
Here is the four of us and I am so excited that we are all going to Newcastle together so I will hopefully see them most days on the train for some quality banter filled train journeys!
Here is me and the stunning Zara! She looked absolutely perfect and her dress was so glamorous! I knew from the discussions in science and various other classes that she would look amazing!

So that was my prom and I had the best time with my friends and everyone looked so lovely and I hope everyone else had a nice evening!
Once my post show blues aren't as bad I will be blogging regularly and i will do a blog post on the Wizard of Oz, featuring some wonderful photos!

Opening Night!

Hi Everyone!

So lately I have been having a pretty rough time as I have completely left school and I found it really hard to say goodbye to people. I mean yeah we have prom but it felt like a final goodbye. I am really going to miss my friends and certain teachers who have been fantastic over the 5 years and I know these summer holidays are going to be long and at times lonely!

But anyway, tonight is opening night for the Wizard of Oz and I have fallen ill. I mean it could only happen to me! With my luck.
I am so excited to be doing a show with such a fab cast! I will be posting photos later on!

Here is a picture of my show flowers that I get for every show that I do! They are actually beautiful! I adore flowers and I love all of my past show flowers!
Anyway I hope you have a fab week and I'll hopefully blog more frequent!

Friends!

Hi Everyone!

So I'm going through Wizard of Oz rehearsals and being a general busy body but I thought I would take some time to talk about a difficult topic for me.

For those who don't know me personally, I find it extremely hard to make and keep friends. With every one of my friends we have had at least one argument or falling out and each time it makes it harder for me to trust people and I feel like I have to be careful with what I say. I would say I am an ultimate diva, imagine Rachel Berry and Sharpay Evans' love child. I come across as loud and cocky but deep down, I am quite shy and I get nervous really easily. I feel like with some people I ALWAYS put my foot in it! Some people forgive me but others don't so easily.

I have quite a few special friends who have stuck by me even when I am moaning about the world! One of these friends is Maddy, she knows me exactly, even from my facial expression. We have had days where we moan about our crushes not liking us and binge watch The Inbetweeners or Gavin and Stacey, laugh non stop or fight and argue like it's World War III! Some of the stuff I have said is pretty bad but we are as bad as each other sometimes! I know I can be a cow but she always accepts my apology and I have never told her directly how much it means to me but I hope through this blog she will understand how much she actually means to me and how it really hurts me when we fall out!

Another is Brady, as she would say, she is a good'en! I am so excited to be joining Newcastle with her and these past two years we have gotten to know each other really well! We sometimes have the odd disagreement but is always forgiven and forgotten with some top quality banter! There have been lessons and lunchtimes where we have cried till we laughed! (with the help of another close friend Patrick!)

One of my friends who I am going to miss so much when we go to different colleges is Luke. He is actually hilarious, our free periods became banter sessions with non stop laughter! We are also very similar in many ways and our humour is something quite special! I know one day we will see each other again and we will only have to say one word and be in fits of laughter!

Now where do I start with Hannah? We are so alike we are like twins, except she has curly hair! I have known her for 4 years this August and it feels like I have known her forever! We can go months at a time without seeing each other and when we do meet up its like it was only a day since we last saw each other! We know each other so well that there are some things only we will get! Our humour is so alike. She always knows what to say to me and her advice has been a huge part of getting me through life. Doing shows together has to be a highlight of my life! I can tell the Wizard of Oz is going to be amazing with her! I know that we will be life long friends! And I know when we get to London and can't afford anything we will have cardboard boxes next to each other! You have no idea how excited I am to being joining the same course as her next year its going to be fantastic! I genuinely couldn't imagine my life without her!
Heres a picture of us and it is one of my favourites!
But on the other hand, its not just my fault that I can't make friends. A lot of people judge me before they really get to know me and assume I am a loud and nasty cow, which is partly true! A lot of people also think that they can laugh at me and talk about me behind my back because I rarely confront people I don't really know. It makes me so paranoid and makes me think I can't speak to anyone without some one commenting about it! I just wish people wouldn't judge me and would get to know the real me which 8/10 is quite funny and uplifting!

Anyway if any of you find it hard to make friends then I want you to know you aren't alone and that we should try our best to ignore the arses of life and try to find the people who make us laugh and who we care deeply about!

The steps towards the Future!

Hi Everyone!

What a week I have had! I have some really exciting news! This week I have been asked to joined a production of The Wizard of Oz in Sunderland with one of my best friends, Hannah! I am so excited because believe it or not, I haven't been in a production of The Wizard of Oz ever! *Gasp*

I have only been to 2 rehearsals and the entire company is so lovely and welcoming! They have made me feel so welcome and I think its going to be an amazing few weeks!
I will be playing a Munchkin, an Emerald City Person and a Winkie! which is going to be very exciting!

Heres a link where you can get information on buying tickets to come and see it! I would LOVE it if you could come and see this amazing production of a much loved show!

http://www.royaltytheatre.co.uk/tickets/

Yesterday (Saturday) I went to my first dance class at the Rachel Wilson School of Dance and I absolutely loved it! I am going to be doing ballet, tap and modern so I know what I am doing when I get to college and to also improve my general dance ability! Again I am going with Hannah which is amazing because we live far away from each other so we will get to see each other much more. Everyone there was so lovely and welcoming!

I can't believe within a week I have joined a production and a dance class! I feel like my future is getting here a lot quicker and that I finally am working towards getting on the west end after 5 years of wishful thinking! Joining these 2 new groups has also restored my faith in humans as I have met some truly dreadful people at various drama groups and they made me think that most drama groups/schools were like that!

Anyway thats all that really happened this week apart from a Maths Exam which was a catastrophe but screw maths!

What am I like!?!

Hi Everyone!

I am so sorry I haven't been blogging for a while! I have had a bizarre week and a hell of a lot of revision to get through.

Well I had an eventful week, last week. I have taken leaving school pretty hard. As much as I detested that dump, Friday was pretty special and I think that is why I have been pretty down. I am going to miss my friends a lot more than I thought I would and its gonna take me a long time to get used to not seeing them everyday, but hopefully I will see them most of the time during the rest of my summer holidays!
I have had a load of revision aswell which is the bane of my life. It is the biggest waste of time and I better bloody pass these exams with all this time i have wasted looking at old exercise books! The one subject I have a feeling I am going to fail is Maths. It is worse than horrific how boring it is and how useless I am as a maths student! But my exam is on Thursday and maybe next Monday! So I will let you know how it goes.

Yesterday I had my History exam and I was pretty confident with it! I have probably done the most revision for History!

Today I had my English Language exam in the morning and my RE exam in the afternoon. My hand is still crippled, I am currently typing with a dead hand!
English was 2 hours 15 minutes! OVER 2 HOURS OF CONSTANT WRITING! The questions weren't so bad and I got to write about London on the writing section so its all good!
RE on the other hand. What a mess. I was greeted by the schools Uniform Nazi and dear god. What a twat he is I don't know a single student or teacher who actually likes him, he is a waste of air and to be quite honest needs to get a life. An example of the pain he inflicts is that my friend Patrick had a tie on that wasn't 'up to this teachers standard' so he came over and decided to redo Patricks tie and then say "All you need is a shave and you would be presentable." Im sorry but who the hell does he think he is WE ARE 16. Stop being a twat.
Anyway. So I had a conflict with him over the ring that I wear everyday because you know, a ring with affect the grade I get. So after having him lecture me and being a general dick I got in to the exam, sightly frazzled and the questions were pretty difficult! But hey ho! Its not like I am going to be a vicar or nun anytime soon!

Also more interesting news I have had my cartilage pierced on my left ear and I love it! Its a bit sore but I can deal with it! Excuse the quality of the photo and the quality of my hair you get the general idea of what it looks like!

So tonight I have been job hunting for some part time work and watching Orange is the New Black again in time for Season 3 to be released! This is so I know whats happening because it was a while since I watched it!

And in Celebrity news have you all seen the Vanity Fair cover with Caitlyn Jenner! Oh my God she is stunning! I am so happy she can finally be who she is and I hope she's much happier!

So if I haven't drowned in a sea of Maths revision and the History of Nazi Germany revision I will hopefully blog later on in the week!

Hope you have all had a good week!

Leavers 2010-2015

Hi Everyone!

So today has been one hell of an emotional day! It was my last proper day at school and I can't believe after 5 years Im free from that dump. I can't say I had an amazing time at school but I can say I had a decent time. I have made some lifelong friends and met some extraordinary teachers who have influenced my life and inspired me! It was awful having to say goodbye to so many fabulous people but it was also amazing knowing I never have to go there again! Here are some photos with some of my friends and I will write about each one below!
Enjoy!

Me and Abigail have had some top quality banter during science and to be quite honest I think science would have been more boring than watching paint dry without her! Even though we only met in Year 9 I have had too many laughs with her!

This is the Banter Bench and oh my life those poor teachers having to put up with our constant banter! Us three created some top quality banter which will make me laugh forever! I will be about 60 and be in a fit of laughter after some of the stuff we talked about!

This is Oooooohhhh Becky! I have known her for about 13 years and today was so hard saying goodbye! We have grown up together and have had some hilarious moments! Even though in Years 7-9 we weren't as close, when it got to year 10 it felt like only 5 minutes since Primary School! I am gonna miss her but I will be annoying her on snapchat with spaghetti junction! (She knows what I mean!)

Me and Zara have had lessons where we have talked non stop! Whether it was about having a cheeky Nandos or Politics! Even though we only really met in Year 10 I feel like I've known her so much longer! She better get into law school so if I need a lawyer when I'm older I can get one at mates rates!

This is the bae that is Charis! I've known her for about 11 years and we have had some hilarious times! It seems like only yesterday we were skipping around the field singing the entire score to The Wizard of Oz! This was another hard goodbye but I know wherever she goes she will be successful and extremely happy (as usual!).

This is Declan and he is one of my longest friends, I have known him for 14 years and we are going to Newcastle together so I will see him most days on the train but even so it was the end of an era! Even though I sometimes come across as mean deep down I never mean it and I hope he knows this!

This here is Karis and what a fab friend and tutor group friend she has been! As a fellow drama llama its been fab having so many drama based conversations! Many a tutor time we have been putting the world to right and I'm gonna miss our everyday rants about the waste of time that is Maths! Remember its all about grabbing marks! (Anyone in my Maths class will get this!)

This is my m8 leanne and Oh Dear God! I still laugh about our year 7 banter about woooooaaaaakkkkkaaaayyyyyy! I'm going to miss her so much and I don't know how I am going to survive without our daily laughs! If I was ever in a bad mood this pickle ALWAYS knew how to cheer me up! Watch out for her though because one days she will be a famous footballer while I'm living in a cardboard box in London!

Luke and I are 2 kool for skool! We have become amazing friends these past 2 years and his humour has kept me going! Our free banter sessions with Mrs Brown have been on point and I hope we stay in touch! Ths year especially I feel we have become closer and I would consider him one of my really good friends! I know he will have a fab time at college cutting wood and I know he will have a fabulous future! Some of our selfies have been works of art but I can't put them  on here because they are too fabulous!

Niamh is just too lovely! We have known each other since year 7 and its all coming to an end! We have had so much banter in french and I hope that we stay in touch! I can still remember 'help ma boab!' and I still randomly chuckle at it from time to time!

Oh Patrick (Patty Poops) what a legend! With fabulous hair and a fabulous sense of humour he has had me crying with laughter at lunch! It only seems like 2 minutes ago we were Buzz Lightyear and Tinkerbell! Now look at us! Even though we are going to Newcastle together, the banter levels are going to drop!

This beautiful specimen is one Sam Brown, it seems like only 5 minutes we were tiny year 7's in Our House and I had such a fun time doing Return to the forbidden planet and We Will Rock You with him!

Here is my bae who has been through everything with me, we have fought, cried, laughed and got pissed together. I know she knows but she's been there for me when life was being a twat. I'm going to miss her so much when she goes to Durham but we will meet up as regular as we can!

This is my signed school blouse featuring a dick, rainbow flag and many stars!

Here is the best Tutor group in the school! H9! We are fabulous and we wouldn't be the people we are today without the bad ass, lovely and amazing Mrs Hale! H9 will never be the same without us!
And last but definitely not least, the most amazing person I have ever met, Mrs Hale! She has been the most amazing tutor/teacher/listener anyone could ask for! She already knows this but she has shaped my life more than anyone has or ever will! From tears, to rants she has listened and either comforted me or made me laugh till I can't breathe! Life is going to be awful without seeing her everyday but words cannot describe how much I am going to miss her. School would have been 1000000% worse without her and the safety of B9! She deserves an award for everything she does. Her stories and banter are too on point and she made my life worth living again!

Some people that I forgot to get a photo with are certainly not being left out of my mentions!

Brady Pepper- She is just to bloody amazing! Working in drama was an absolute pleasure, even though I was a nightmare! We are going to College together and the train journeys are going to be fab! Our lunch banter has been on point and we have had so many laughs! She is an amazing human being!

Holly Kendall- What a lovely and funny girl! I have had some amazing banter with her and I can't believe we won't see each other everyday! My favourite moment has to the OBTC rehearsals and every lunch time! I hope we stay in touch!

Enya Rosenvinge-  Me and Enya have been friends since Primary School and it was so weird saying goodbye today but I know she will have an amazing future flying all over the world!

I can't believe the 5 years are over! I know to some people I come across as a loud dramatic bitch but I can say that with quite a few people we have had an amazing time and we all have a bright future! And to the arseholes who think they got the better of me! You tried but failed!
I wish everyone Good Luck with their GCSE's and I hope you all have an amazing future!

Exam Fun!

Hi Everyone!

So last week I had my Drama Exam and it went really well, not the best run but not the worst! My group did a 30 minute piece on a group of 1920's dancers which was a murder mystery! I felt it was the best group but of course I'm going to say that, being the Drama Queen I am! I was so proud of my group and I think we did fantastic!

So this week is the start of my GCSE exams and dear god I seriously can't be bothered! I have 15 exams and I had RE today. I feel it went really well so if all else fails I will become a nun. But anyway, the exams I have to take are so ridiculous! I have 3 English, 3 Science, 2 RE, 2 Maths, 3 History and 2 French. To be fair the only one I am really stressed about is French because it won't only be me I will let down if I fail. So no pressure! But the rest are so boring and 3 Science Exams! What a load of shit! Science can seriously do one. I cannot wait until the 16th June when all of my exams finish!

I apologise in advance for the lack of blogging in the near future as the revision for these pointless exams take FOREVER! So I hope to write soon but if not I hope you have had a fabulous day and if you are doing your GCSE's then GOOD LUCK!

The Princess!

Hi Everyone!

So today has been pretty fab, the new princess has been called Charlotte! CHARLOTTE! Kate and Will have a particular good taste in names! I am over the moon! To be fair I am a Drama Queen so it only makes sense they would name a princess after me!
Anyway I spent the rest of the day doing, guess what..... more shopping! I seriously need to stop spending so much money. But to be fair I only spent £12.00ish and that was in Lush. For any of you who don't know I am obsessed with Lush products and I spend most of my money in there! I also had a revision session with Maddy which was 'highly' productive!

Saturday Skate and Shop!

Hi Everyone!

Today has been very chilled but very tiring!
I got up at 7.00am for a morning skate session and it was fab! I actually made friends with a skater and she is so lovely I also managed to do some successful scratch spins! I was so relieved but anyway it's fab that I can go to the ice rink and I know someone and not feel so much like an outsider!
I then went to my Grandmas as she lives near the rink and her next door neighbours are looking after their sons kittens so we went round to see them and OH MY GOD! They are the cutest little fluff balls ever! I nearly died by how cute they were! I would say I am a general animal person I'm not just a cat or dog person I love most animals!

Later on I went into town to treat myself and to get myself a new dress to get me through the stress of this drama exam Wednesday so I paid a trip to my favourite shop, Jack Wills! I got myself a summer dress which is beautiful!
Here are some pictures (featuring my top class modelling!)

It is a stretchy cotton and has a double spaghetti strap. It is navy with white stripes and has a white embroidered pheasant in the bottom left corner. It could be worn with knee high socks or tights and a pair of brogues or ballet pumps. It could be worn with a jacket, cardigan or even a white blouse underneath if it isn't that warm outside!
Link: Strangely I can't find it on the Jack Wills Website but I will keep checking and when it appears I will update this!

Anyway I hope you are having a good day and I hope to write soon! (Hopefully before my drama exam!)
